The Atelier
We believe that lasting artistic ability is built slowly, through repetition, observation, and rigorous self-examination — not through shortcuts. Every programme at Ocean Yang Atelier is structured around long-term academic progression, giving students the vocabulary to express anything they can see or imagine.
Classes follow the Bargue-style method — the same approach used in the great European academies — combined with realist painting and a gradual, progressive curriculum. Small class sizes (maximum 9 students) mean every student receives individual attention and honest feedback.

Founder & Instructor
Yang Yang founded Ocean Yang Atelier in 2019 after training at two of the world's leading art institutions. Her teaching is guided by a conviction that classical academic methods — when taught with patience and rigour — give students the most durable and expressive foundation for any artistic direction.

From the Atelier
Two of our students have received international nominations at the 33rd IMAJ competition — the only two awarded to Luxembourg this year, competing against institutions from over 60 countries.
Two students of Ocean Yang Atelier have been recognised at the Raiffeisen Molconcours, one of Luxembourg's largest youth painting competitions — Michelle Zhang took first place in the Age 7 category, and Enhui Wang placed among the top 10 for Age 14.
