We are honoured to share that two students of Ocean Yang Atelier have received international recognition at the 33rd International Plastic Arts Competition, organised by the Institut Mondial d'Art de la Jeunesse (IMAJ) under the patronage of the French National Commission for UNESCO.
This year's theme — La Beauté du Vivant (The Beauty of the Living) — invited young artists from around the world to explore what it means to be alive: in nature, in movement, in feeling. Competing against professional art schools and institutions from over 60 countries, our students interpreted this theme with a depth and originality that did not go unnoticed.
The jury awarded the distinction of Nomination (Nominé) — the competition's highest recognition — to two of our students:
Baoxun Guo
Category 6–9 years
Enhui Wang
Category 14–17 years
These are the only two nominations awarded to Luxembourg in this year's international results — a distinction we carry with great pride.
Their awarded works will now participate in a global travelling exhibition and be permanently archived in the international art collection at the Centre pour l'UNESCO in Troyes, France. A remarkable legacy for two remarkable young artists.
While the physical certificates are still making their way to Luxembourg, this international recognition is already the greatest tribute to the dedication, curiosity, and courage our students bring to the canvas every week.
Keep exploring. Keep finding your voice.
